Enhancing the spiritual life of our parish

Monsignor Cox and Deacon Larry Hildebrand organize Sunday Masses, as well as the variety of devotions that are part of our rich Roman Catholic Tradition.

Additionally, Monsignor Cox and Deacon Larry Hildebrand prepare those seeking to be a part the various ministries of the parish, including Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, altar servers and special considerations for seasonal celebrations.  Those seeking to be offertory families, ushers, lectors, greeters should contact the parish office.

Laity who assist the clergy in the distribution of Holy Communion during Mass, as well as to those who are home-bound or sick, are called "Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion."

Our parish has produced a Guide for Extraordinary Ministers. All EMHC are invited to read and review this guide carefully. If you are interested in becoming an EMHC, you are also invited to view this guide. \

Serving at Mass and other liturgies is an important role because the server is assisting, not just the priest, but the whole worshipping community. Hence, altar servers are called to be aware of their role and their responsibility in performing it well.

Families in our parish are invited to volunteer as Offertory Families, who present gifts at the altar during Mass.

If your family is interested in taking the gifts up at Mass, please contact the Parish Office by calling (573) 496-3404.

Ushers assist the faithful before and during Mass, taking up the collection and distributing bulletins after Masses.

If you are interested in serving as an Usher at Mass, please contact the Parish Office by calling (573) 496-3404.

Lectors are readers, who proclaim the Word of God at liturgies. All new lectors will have a training session prior to being assigned.

Sacred Music is a vital component of the Holy Mass.

Our parish have various cantor groups who sing at Sunday and Holy Day liturgies throughout the year.

Our parish is blessed to be a part of the Adoration Chapel at St. Stanislaus parish. The chapel is specially set aside for the perpetual exposition and adoration of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
