Parish Picnic
August 3, 2025
Welcome to our Parish Picnic
The St. Margaret Parish has been hosting an annual picnic since 1907. Through the years, our picnic has grown and changed. However, one thing that has always remained the same is our delicious fried chicken and roast beef! We do our very best to serve the finest in family-style dining. On this day we also get to show off our parish and how proud we are to be a part of it. St. Margaret’s church community brings to life the love of community, friendship, and working together. So come join us for the day! We look forward to serving you.
We will be accepting debit cards, with no fees, to purchase dinner tickets and quilts at the quilt auction.
Quilt Auction
Part of the fun for the day at the St. Margaret picnic is the Quilt Auction! The quilting group has been working all year to create some of the most beautiful quilts in the area. We will be auctioning the quilts shown below at 5 pm with the help of Gratz Auctioneering. Most quilts are hand-quilted by the St. Margaret’s quilting group or ladies of the parish and many are pieced by church members. A public viewing will be held prior to the auction on the picnic grounds. Look for the tents in front of the hall. If you are unable to attend but would like to leave a bid, contact the church rectory at 573.496.3404 or at stmargaretob@gmail.com by noon on Friday August 2.
Thank you for your support and God Bless!
A huge thank you to all those who have purchased quilts from our parish in the past. We hope these quilts have brought you much joy when using them.
